Terms & Conditions for Ben Handyman LLC
1. Services
Upon acceptance of an estimate, Ben Handyman will perform the services detailed in the provided estimate. Any services requested beyond the scope of the estimate will incur additional charges at our current hourly rate. These additional services must be agreed upon by both parties.
2. Schedule
Services will be performed according to the schedule mutually agreed upon. However, please note that this schedule is an estimate, and unforeseen circumstances may result in delays. We will notify you of any changes to the schedule as soon as possible.
3. Changes
Any changes to the specifications, quantities, schedule, or other aspects of the project must be approved in writing. Verbal agreements or unseen issues that arise during service may result in additional work (defined as tasks requiring 8 hours or less). These additional tasks will be performed at our current hourly rate, and you agree to pay for these services without prior written approval.
4. Taxes
All applicable federal, state, and local taxes are your responsibility. If no taxes are specified in the estimate, they have been included in the total price provided.
5. Payment Terms
All invoices are due upon completion of work unless otherwise stated. For clients on Net billing terms, payment is due no later than the agreed-upon date. Late payments will incur interest and fees until the balance is paid in full.
6. Guarantee and Warranty
All work and materials provided by Ben Handyman are guaranteed for 12 months from the completion date. This warranty covers only the work performed by Ben Handyman and will be void if subsequent work is done by others or if the work area is modified after our services.
7. Late Charges and Interest
Invoices not paid by the completion date or within the agreed-upon terms will incur late fees and interest until paid. Clients with Net billing agreements are also subject to these terms if payment is not made by the due date.
8. Property Access
By accepting this agreement, you authorize Ben Handyman to access your property as needed to assess service needs, perform the required work, and verify the completion of services. We may visit your property with little or no notice for assessment or follow-up purposes. The appointment time provided is an arrival window, and we will notify you when we are on our way.
If your property is located within a gated community, it is essential that any gate codes or access information be provided to Ben Handyman prior to the scheduled appointment. Billing begins upon arrival at the gated entrance, not at the residence. Failure to disclose that your property is in a gated community prior to our arrival may result in delays. If we are unable to gain access to the community, we will make every effort to contact you. However, if no response is received within 15 minutes of our initial contact, the appointment will be canceled, and a $125 service call fee will be applied.
9. Marketing Consent
You agree to allow Ben Handyman to use any photos, descriptions, reviews, quotes, texts, or videos related to the project for marketing purposes. Rest assured, no personal information or specific work locations will be disclosed to ensure your privacy.
10. Communication Consent
By engaging with Ben Handyman, you consent to receive notifications and messages (via email or text) regarding promotions, service updates, and other communications related to our services.
